Does One Lawn Really Make a Difference?

Yes—more than you might think. Utah’s lawns are thirsty, with a single yard using up to 150,000 gallons of water each summer. But small changes—like watering less frequently or swapping turf for native plants—can make a big difference for our shrinking Great Salt Lake. Check out a guest blog post from Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District to learn more!   https://growtheflowutah.org/2025/05/28/does-one-lawn-really-make-a-difference-heres-why-it-does/
